Studio Daedalus Single Purchase Font License
Studio Daedalus single purchase fonts are licensed only to one individual user per purchased copy, who may legally copy their purchased fonts without restriction and convert them to other formats if necessary, but solely for their own use. If your site requires multiple copies for multiple simultaneous users, please inquire about quantity discounts.
By purchasing a Studio Daedalus font you are licensed to use it in printed form or screen images in any way without restriction. Similarly, Studio Daedalus fonts may be embedded in subset form within static, non-dynamic, non-editable documents for re-distribution.
It is a violation of this license to give away copies of this font software, sell copies of it, redistribute it on any site or collection archive, or incorporate it into any other software products without the express permission of Studio Daedalus (see exhibits A and B).
Exhibit A: Embedding in applications with non-dynamic, non-editable text
This exhibit specifies the terms for embedding Studio Daedalus font software inside applications for re-distribution that feature non-dynamic, non-editable text. The specification of this exhibit in no way bestows these rights on single purchase customers. Please consult Studio Daedalus about pricing terms for bestowing the permissions specified by this exhibit.
- The fonts must be SUBSET embedded (only those characters necessary for displaying the document).
- The text in your document or application files must be static (non-dynamic).
- The document or application files must be restricted to the one domain which is registered for your license, but the number of files is not restricted.
- The document or application files must retain all font property information, including TM and copyright strings.
- Where the feature applies (i.e. Flash), the "Protect from Import" option must be enabled when the SWF files are generated.
- Where the feature applies (i.e. Flash), configure sIFR's customize_me.as file in two ways to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the system: first, set the allowedDomains array to include only the domain of your website (instead of "*"), and then set allowlocal to "false" before publishing the .swf to the web.
